<p>An aqueous composition and a diluted aqueous coolant containing sebacic acid, glycerine, isononanoic acid and 6-[(1-oxoisononyl)amino]hexanoic acid are provided. The aqueous coolant is used for cooling and protecting a metal workpiece and a metalworking apparatus or device from corrosion and rust during metalworking. The coolant contains no free amines, nitrites, phosphates, sulfur, chlorine or boron.</p> |
