In a connector used in a liquid crystal display device, one connector (3) is provided with a vertical direction supporting member (33) for support for matching the height positions of both connecting bodies; a cable inserting/removing protruding section (34) for pressing a lower plane of the vertical direction supporting member (33) from above and sliding it along the surface of a flat plane (A); and horizontal direction supporting members (35a, 35b) which can abut to a substrate end plane (B) and prevent excessive insertion.
