DETERGENT COMPOSITION

A detergent composition which is excellent in the rapidity of lathering while retaining mildness, combines freedom from entanglement with a slippery feeling during rinsing, and gives a moist feeling after drying. The detergent composition contains one or more members selected among N-(long-chain acyl)amino acids and/or salts thereof (ingredient (A)) and one or more members selected among water-soluble zinc salts of organic acids (ingredient (B)). Due to the use of the two ingredients in combination, the detergent composition is excellent in the rapidity of lathering while retaining mildness, combines freedom from entanglement with a slippery feeling during rinsing, and gives a moist feeling after drying.
