The imaging arrangement consists of an X-ray tube or radioactive source with several gamma energy ranges and a location and energy selective detector. The sensitive detector vol. (DA) exposed to the imaging beam consists of a flat panel extending in the direction of radiation and in the direction of the imaging location measurement but of limited extension in the third dimension. Further detectors (DB) are assigned to both flat sides. The location measurement is achieved from signals of the first detector part (DA). The energy measurement follows from signals from all detector parts (DA, DB). USE/ADVANTAGE - Generating energy-selective X-ray images and good local reslution using continuously running radiation source.
