Device comprises an AC generator (10) connected to a two part transformer (8,2) with the prim. coil of an entry transformer (8) connected to the generator and the sec. coil (4) of an exit transformer (2) connected to the electrode tongs (1). Both transformers are connected together via an oscillating circuit (5) including sec. coil (7) of the entry transformer (8), a capacitor (6) and the prim. coil (3) of the exit transformer. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for soldering/welding high electric conductive metals. The device has a high current and thermal power which can be transferred to the tongs. The power of the device can be easily regulated.
