<p>An article comprises a hollow vessel (1) whose outer surface is formed from aluminium, and a handle (7) which is connected to the vessel by means of at least one band (3) which extends around at least part of the perimeter of the vessel and engages the surface of the vessel mechanically. The mechanical connection between the band and the vessel may result from deformation of the wall of the vessel so as to encapsulate the band. A connection between the band and the handle may be a solder connection.</p> |
