<p>PURPOSE: To minimize the energy consumption, and the deteriolation and consumption of absorbing solvents in a process for dehydrating, through heating, a part of the regenerated absorbing solvents by performing the dehydration by a gas stripping method and moreover, heating to a temperature lower than the boiling point of the absorbing solvent. CONSTITUTION: In the process in which an acidic component in a gas is absorbed under pressure into an organic solvent containing polyglycol-ether as its base, then the saturated absorbing solvent is regenerated and finally a part of the regenerated absorbing solvent is dehydrated through heating, and the dehydration is carried out by a stripping method using gasses and moreover, heating to a temperature lower than the boiling point of the absorbing solvent under nearly atmospheric pressure.</p> |
