<p>The radially deformable tube consists of at least two sections (1, 2) releasably connected end-to-end. The internal circumference of the end (2a) of one of the sections (2) is substantially the same as the external circumference of the end (1a) of the other section (1) over a predetermined axial length (L), thereby forming a male end (1a) which can fit into a female end (2a). The end portion (7) of the male end (1a) comprises an engagement lip which can sealingly fit into an inner groove (9) in the female end (2a) behind an engagement lip (8) on the edge of said groove (9). The end portion (10) of the female end (2a) fits into an external groove (11) in the male end (1a) at an axial distance (L) from engagement lip (7).</p> |
