The device distributes fodder to stalls which house animals. It has two side members (1,2) which together with a transverse strut (8) form a triangular frame. The device may be mounted at the front or at the rear of a tractor or it may be towed by a suitable vehicle. The side members (1,2) have hinged flaps (4,5) attached to their rear ends. The angular positions of these flaps may be adjusted by means of transverse struts (15). The side members (1,2) and the hinged flaps (4,5) have skids (11) fitted to their lower edges.
