<p>In a safety cut-out for gas pipes (1) with a valve (2) which can be pressed against a valve seat (9) in an especially tubular housing, the valve (2) takes the form of a plate valve movable in the axial direction of the tubular housing (1) against the action of a spring (5). Here, the cross-sectional area of the valve plate (7) is smaller than the clear cross-section of the housing (1) and the plate is held at a distance from the inner wall of the tubular housing and in addition the gas inlet union is fitted on the side of the valve plate (7) on the side away from the spring (5).</p> |
