PURPOSE:To obtain the sufficient adhesiveness between a base material film and an ink layer without interposing an adhesive layer by adding an adhesive medium enhancing the adhesivens of the base material film and the binder in the ink layer to the ink layer. CONSTITUTION:A layer 2 composed of a sublimable or thermal transfer dye, polyvinyl butyral and isocyanic ester is laminated to one main surface (upper surface) of a base material film 1 composed of a polyester resin such as polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate and a lubricant layer 3 having heat resistance is laminated to the opposite main surface (under surface)thereof in order to prevent the stickiness of a thermal head. Therefore, it is unnecessary to interpose an adhesive layer between the base material film 1 and an ink layer 2 and the number of manufacturing processes can be reduced and heat can be effectively transmitted to the ink layer from a heater and, as a result, a good transfer image can be obtained. Further, isocyanic ester is added to the ink layer in an amount of 0.1 - 10 pts.wt. (solid basis) per 100 pts.wt. of the ink layer. |
