<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the atmospheric air from being discharged accompanied with blow-off by usually collecting particulate with a main filter, and a condition of blow-off, re-collecting the particulate with a store filter provided downstream while effectively reactivating the store filter. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a main filter 42 of sticking type in an exhaust passage 41, and a store filter 45 in an exhaust passage 43 half-branched downstream from the exhaust passage 41. The opening/closing valves 46 and 47 are interposed in the branch passages 43 and 44, respectively. When it is judged 53 that blow-off is generated in the main filter 42, based on the detected outlet temperature TEX2 and differential pressure before and after the main filter 42, the valves 46 and 47 are controlled such that the blow-off particulate is re-collected with the store filter 45. When the store filter 45 is judged 55 to be reactivated, the main filter is subjected to the exhaust gas restriction, and a heating device 50 and respective valves 46 and 47 are controlled based on the signal from a temperature sensor 51.</p> |
