PURPOSE:To surely insert a lip of an oil seal so as to surely make oil flow by providing an oil circulating hole, connecting the inner to the outer, in a metal-made protector main unit and the guide lip of paraffin material, tilted in an internal peripheral side, in an internal peripheral edge part. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical peripheral wall 1a of a protector main unit 1 is fitted to the periphery of a peripheral part 3 of an oil seal reinforcing ring and to a housing 11. Next, a shaft 12, when it is inserted to the inside of a guide lip 4, is guided in a direction of insertion and surely inserted without inverting a lip 8 of an oil seal 2. Here, the guide lip 4, which is formed of paraffin system material, is solidified at a normal temperature to maintain a suitable rigidity, at the time of inserting the shaft 12, melted and eliminated when heated oil is circulated after an engine is started, and oil is smoothly circulated by generating a space by a width of the guide lip 4, disappearing between the point end of an annular plate 1b and the shaft 12, and by oil circulation holes 5, 9 connected to each other to this space. |
