<p>The invention relates to an apparatus for preparing a new supply weft yarn in a jet loom in the event that a break has occurred to weft yarn between a weft yarn cheese and a main picking nozzle. The apparatus comprises a plurality of weft supply cheeses (1A,1B,1C), each having its own tenser (12A,12B,12C), a yarn guide nozzle (7) between the tensers and a weft yarn measuring and storage device (2), the exit of the weft yarn measuring and storage device (2) leading to the main picking nozzle (22), and position changing means to position the exit port of each of the tensers (12A,12B,12C) alternatively in facing relation to the inlet of the yarn guide nozzle (7) by moving either the tensers or the yarn guide nozzle. <IMAGE></p> |
