PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hour of segmenting by preliminarily setting plural kinds of segmenting range different in size and only designating one point on an input graphic in accordance with the segmenting range having a desired size to automatically segment graphic data in the segmenting range. CONSTITUTION:A graphic given from the external is read by an input part 1 like an image scanner 7 or a video camera 8 and is stored in a microcomputer 9 and is displayed on a screen 10a of a display device 10. One prescribed point B of this graphic is designated by a keyboard 11 or a mouse 12 to automatically segment graphic data in the segmenting range, which is selected by a segmenting range selecting part 5, by a graphic segmenting part 6. Thus, the man-hour is reduced and the processing time is shortened. |
