PURPOSE:To obtain a composition exhibiting excellent intestine-controlling action in using a small amount by mixing yucca powder with isomaltooligosaccharide, galactooligosaccharide or fructooligosaccharide. CONSTITUTION:Yucca powder is mixed with at least a species of oligosaccharide such as isomaltooligosaccharide, galactooligosaccharide and fructooligosaccharide to afford the objective intestine-controlling composition. All part of the yucca, namely flour, seed, seed pod, fruit, leaf, stalk and root are able to be used in a state of dried powder or an extract solution, etc. Yucca and oligosaccharide are adjusted to be (1:9) to (9:1), preferably (1:5) to (5:1) mixing ratio. The objective intestine-controlling composition is preferably used for preventing constipation, etc., with an odor-suppressing effect on the excrements of human and animal, and further, also able to prevent adult diseases. |
