PURPOSE:To improve the preciseness of judgment by receiving the supersonic waves, which are transmitted from the supersonic transducer for transmission arranged on the road surface by means of a supersonic transducer for reception and judging based on the characteristic curve determined according to the surface temperature and the level of the reception waves. CONSTITUTION:A supersonic transducer 1 for transmission installed in a supersonic probe 20 for transmission an a supersonic transducer 2 for reception installed in a supersonic probe 22 are spaced at a specified intervals on the asphalt pavement 12. In the next step, longitudinal supersonic waves are launched from a transmission circuit 3 in a measuring device 100 to the pavement 12, and both of reception level data, which were received by a reception circuit 4, and the output of a temperature sensor 10, which is contact with the pavement 12, are stored in a control circuit 7. In addition, in the circuit 7, shoulder characteristics are watched to appear in the characteristic curve, which is determined by surface temperature and reception wave level, and judgment output is displayed on a display unit 15. Therefore, judgment can easily and precisely made. |
