The hydro-pneumatic piston pump (4) is activated from the vehicle pneumatic brake system (22), and works intermittently, dependent upon the pressure in the pressure accumulator (5). This accumulator is so dimensioned that in the fully loaded state it houses sufficient pressure medium for the execution of at least one work cycle of the vehicle work unit. The pump, the pressure accumulator and a hydraulic medium tank (7) form a composite unit. The vehicle work unit (2) can be a clutch, and the pressure accumulator (5) is connected, via a pressure regulator (9), to a disengagement unit (12) for the clutch. A control unit (20) is conencted to the pressure regulator to adjust the pressure level coming from the regulator to the disengagement unit. The work unit can also be a gearbox, with the pressure accumulator conencted to a valve in turn connected to a control for the choice of gear. |
