CARBON INK FOR FORMING THERMOSETTING PATTERN AND METHOD FOR PATTERN FORMATION

PURPOSE:To form a fine conductive body or a fine line pattern by an inexpensive and simple printing method by cutting a metallic org. compd. paste printed on a thermoset carbon ink on the ink and removing the ink by burning at high temp. CONSTITUTION:After printing is performed on an alumina glaze board 1 by using a carbon ink 8 for forming a thermoset pattern, the thermosetting carbon ink 8 is dried and cured by heating. Then, for example, an org. gold compd. paste 9 is printed on the thermoset carbon ink 8 and cut thereon with a cutter as illustrated with a cut line 10. The cut piece is dried and burned in air to form a thin gold film layer 2 and to burn and remove the carbon ink 8 located below. As the thin gold film is left as a burr at the part where the ink 8 has been printed, this is removed with a gum roller to form an electrode pattern for a heat generating part of a thermal head with a sharp apex shape of the pattern.
