PURPOSE: To obtain a heatable steering wheel in which even heat radiation can be attained and a profile of a heating element does not appear on the surface in the vehicular steering provided with a coating body made of leather or the like and a synthesized heating insert connectable to an electric energy source by composing the heating insert of a warp knitted yarn. CONSTITUTION: This vehicular steering wheel is composed of a steering spoke 1 and a steering trim 2. The steering trim 2 is composed of an insert 3, a support body 4, a heating insert 5 and a coating body 6. The coating body 6 is, for instance, made of flat body (flat mold) such as leather or the like. The heating insert 5 is made of warp knitted fabric which is a flat body prepared by a knitting needle or a crochet needle of a filament. The warp knitted fabric 5 can be extended in any direction without causing breakage, and shrunk without causing folds. Conductivity of the flament can be kept without restriction, so that evenness of heating function in whole the steering can be secured. Connection bodies 11, 12 are arranged in the warp knitted yarn 5 so as to be extended in the widthwise direction, which bodies can be connected to a power source which is not indicated in the drawing. |
