PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition improved in transparency, heat resistance, migration resistance, weathering resistance and antistatic properties by mixing a polar resin polymer with a specified antistatic agent. CONSTITUTION:A quat. ammonium salt of formula I or II (wherein R1 to R4 are each a monovalent hydrocarbon group provided that at least one of them is 10-24C alkyl; R5 is 8-24C alkyl; and X is an anion) is allowed to react with a perchlorite of formula III (wherein M is an inorganic or organic cation; (m) is 1-3; and (n) is 1-6) at 50-150 deg.C in a molar ratio of (0.8:1) to (1:1.5) in a highly polar solvent (e.g. dioxane) to obtain a quat. ammonium salt/perchlorite complex. A silicate having a content of particles of a secondary particle diameter (as measured by the Coulter counter method) of 5mum or 50% or above, a refractive index of 1.49-1.57, an oil absorption of 80-250ml/100g, a pore volume of 0.1cc/g or above and a BET specific surface area of 100m<2>/g or above and represented by formula IV (wherein M is Ca or Mg; (x) is 1-2; and (n) is 0.3-1.0) is impregnated with the above complex in a weight ratio of 1:(1.5-0.25) to obtain an antistatic agent comprising the complex. 100 pts.wt. polar resin polymer of a dielectric constant of 2.3-4.5 and a volume resistivity of 10<13>-10<17>OMEGA.cm (e.g. PVC) is mixed with 0.5-60 pts.wt. above antistatic agent. |
