A light guide sheet manufacturing method is provided to simplify a lamination process in forming a backlight unit by integrating a light guide plate and a reflecting plate. A light guide sheet manufacturing method is composed of steps for extrusion-molding an optical film(214) with flexibility; applying resin on one surface of the optical film; forming patterns by pressing the optical film by pattern forming rolls(230a,230b); and hardening the optical film having the patterns. The shape of the optical film is controlled by a shutter(212) of an extrusion molding machine(210). Thickness of a thinnest part of a light guide sheet(244) is 126 um to 1 mm. The optical film is made of polymer selected from PC(Polycarbonate), PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate), PE(Polyethylene), and PEN(Polyethylene Naphthalate).
