PURPOSE: To verify its authenticity by attaching a mark for creating a permanent mark only visible with the existence of ultraviolet rays to a predetermined position on an article. CONSTITUTION: A marker or a stamper, for example a human finger is contacted with a supporting body, and the contacted finger is pressed to the specified place of an article. Then, the specified place is exposed to a vapor chemical containing cyanoacrylic ester. In any of a fingerprint or cyanoacrylic ester, an amount of chemical enough to be detected is contained. The vapor chemical forms a fingerprint permanent mark on the article, and this mark is detected only with particular wavelength energy provided by the effect of the chemical. Preferably, the chemical is a compound or dyes sensitive to ultraviolet rays and is not identified by eyes unless the specified place is exposed to ultraviolet rays. Alternatively, supporting body containing a binder having UV sensitive chemical can be provided. |
