PURPOSE:To obtain a dielectric porcelain excellent in the temperature characteristics of dielectric constant and resonance frequency and having a large dielectric constant and a large Q value in a dielectric porcelain composition of SrO-CaO-TiO2-ZrO2 by specifying a ratio of each component. CONSTITUTION:In a dielectric porcelain composition of SiO-CaO-TiO2-ZrO2, 0.59<=(x)<=0.65 and 0<(y)<=0.1 in the case of (Srx, Ca1-x) (Zry, Ti1-y)O3. (z) % by weight of SiO2 may be added with respect to 100% by weight of (Srx, Ca1-x) (Zry, Ti1-y)O3, wherein 0<(z)<3.0. Consequently, it is possible to obtain a dielectric porcelain excellent in dielectric constant and temperature characteristic of resonance frequency and having a large dielectric constant and a large Q value. The resultant composition is useful for a material of a microwave dielectric resonator and a material of a temperature compensating capacitor. |
