<p>PURPOSE:To form a shaft fitting hole without using a shaft pin and simplify a head molding metal mold by closing an opening part by a cover member before or after inserting a shaft into the shaft fitting hole formed into a channel form having the opening on the heel side back surface. CONSTITUTION:When a club head is molded by the use of a head molding metal mold, the hosel part 6 of the club head is molded short, and a shaft fitting hole 7 having a channel-shaped opening part 8 extending from the hosel part upper end to a sole part 3 is integrally molded on the heat side back surface 1a of a wood golf club head body 1 mainly consisting of a synthetic resin material such as fiber reinforced plastics, and a cover member 9 separately molded from the club head is installed to the channel-shaped opening part 8 and integrally formed after or before a shaft 4 is inserted to the shaft fitting hole 7, whereby the shaft fitting hole 7 can be formed without using a shaft pin, and the head molding metal mold can be simplified, resulting in a remarkable improvement in productivity and molding yield.</p> |
