PURPOSE:To improve the potential characteristics and image characteristics at a low temp. and under low humidity by providing a resin layer contg. specific polyester amide on a conductive elastic layer. CONSTITUTION:This member is formed of the three-layered constitution constituted by providing the conductive elastic layer 2 on a conductive base 1a and further providing the resin layer 3 contg. the polyester amide consisting of dibasic carboxylic acid, diol and diamine on the layer 2. The dibasic carboxylic acid, diol and diamine are condensed in the presence of triethyl amine or pyridine. The number of the carbon atoms in the monomer is preferably <= 8 C and most preferred 2 <= C <= 8 in terms of the flexibility of the resin layer and the non-tackiness to the photosensitive body. High-quality image are thereby obtd. and particularly the potential characteristics and image characteristics stable even at and under the low temp. and low humidity are obtd. |
