<p>PURPOSE:To easily remove by grasping a cable to be removed at a waved grasping surface of a clamp at the front of a device, moving it to the rear of the device by a hydraulic cylinder jack, disengaging it, again returning the clamp to the front, and repeating the steps. CONSTITUTION:A device body 5 for removing an underground cable 4 is installed in a manhole 1. The height of a trestle 12 is matched to that of the cable 4 to be removed, and the body 5 is brought into contact with the inlet of a conduit 2 of the cable 4 via wheels 10. The cable 4 is grasped by a clamp 19 having a front waved grasping surface of the body 5. Then, hydraulic pressure is operated at a hydraulic cylinder jack 17B, the clamp 19 is disengaged after the clamp 19 is moved rearward of the body 5, and the clamp 19 is again moved forward of the body 5. This operations are repeated to guide the cable 4 from the manhole 1 to the ground, and wound on a drum (not shown).</p> |
