The process for cooking a dish e.g. roast in an oven having a heating zone, comprises carrying the dish through a cooking accessory (14) in front of the heating zone in to and fro manner, alternatively moving the dish in two directions, and varying a rotation speed (2.5-4.5 turns/minute) of the dish. If size of the dish exceeds a size of the heating zone then the dish distorts its ends according to a height of the heating zone. The rotation speed of the dish is manually decelerated and accelerated when the ends and a central part are in position of the heating zone respectively. An independent claim is included for a device for cooking a dish. |
