PURPOSE:To obtain a CO laser apparatus capable of long time operation with high stability of output, by installing an eliminating mechanism of CO2 molecules composed of adsorbent. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus is constituted of a discharge part 1, a laser resonator 2, a cooler 4, a blower 5, and a laser gas flowing route 6, and a CO2 eliminating part 8 is inserted in the laser gas flowing route 6 between the discharge part 1 and the cooler 4. The CO2 eliminating part 8 has the function to separate CO2 contained in gas by the effect of physical adsorbing action, and is constituted of an adsorbing tower filled with adsorbent such as natural zeolite. The CO2 inevitably generated by the discharge action in the discharge part 1 is eliminated by adsorption while the laser gas circulates. Thereby the long time operation with high stability of laser output can be realized. |
