PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of bean curd and ensure the proper lateral turn thereof by twisting a separation chute for carrying the curd to a packing process at the predetermined angle at the intermediate position thereof, and letting the curd go down the chute under exposure to fluid pressure. CONSTITUTION:Separation chutes 4 integrated with respective cutter blades 2 have a U-shaped section, and so arranged as to be gradually separated from each other at intervals to suit the packing of bean curd. In addition, each separation chute 4 is twisted 90 degrees right or left, and so laid as to have a downward slope. As a result, pieces of the bean curd cut with each cutter blade 2 slide down the separation chutes 4 on the flow of fluid, and laterally turn along the shape of each chute 4 at the twisted position thereof. Consequently, the smooth cut face of the curd is directed up. According to the aforesaid construction, the proper lateral turn of the bean curd is ensured without any damage, and the bean curd can be easily packed. |
