<p>PURPOSE:To constitute the gut so that a sufficient discoloration preventing function is displayed, and also, a resin coating layer prevents transmission of a harmful light for causing discoloration such as ultraviolet rays, etc., by covering the surface of a colored synthetic resin main body with an uncolored resin coating layer containing a light transmission inhibitor and an oxidation inhibitor. CONSTITUTION:The synthetic resin gut is constituted so that for instance, the surfaces of synthetic resin main bodies 1, 10 are covered with an uncolored resin coating layer 2, this uncolored resin coating layer 2 itself contains a light transmission inhibitor and an oxidation inhibitor for suppressing the transmission of a harmful light such as ultraviolet rays, etc., and the synthetic resin main body 10 is formed by winding a leather thread 12 to a core thread 11. Coloring is executed by using dyestuff and pigment. As for the dyestuff, water soluble dye enumerated hereinbelow, that is, acid dye, complex salt acid dye, disperse dye, basic dye, reactive dye substantive dye, building dye, etc., are exemplified. The resin coating layer is provided in order to enhance the gut quality by fixing an intertwined state in the synthetic resin main body, suppressing the fatigue at the time of extending and providing and at the time of hitting a ball, or improving durability and wear resistance.</p> |
