PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, capable of exhibiting optimum tack at an atmospheric temperature in molding an unvulcanized rubber by blending a rubber component composed of natural rubber and a (non)conjugated diene-based rubber with specific paraffin wax containing a prescribed amount of n-paraffin. CONSTITUTION:The objective rubber composition is obtained by blending (A) a rubber component composed of natural rubber, a diene-based rubber such as polybutadiene and/or a nonconjugated diene-based rubber such as ethylene- propylene-diene-based terpolymer rubber with (B) paraffin wax, containing >=50wt.% n-paraffin and having the number of carbon atoms indicating the maximum peak in a distribution of the number of carbon atoms- the number of molecules present within the range of a value (A+ or -5) calculated from the formula (T is the atmospheric temperature in molding the rubber composition). The aforementioned rubber composition has excellent early stability of tack. |
