PURPOSE:To make the removing force zero when an IC is removed and prevent the contact pressure from being changed even if the outer diameter size of an IC lead is changed by inserting a moving contact piece applied with an elastic force by an elastic body into the cylindrical section of a cylindrical lead receiving body. CONSTITUTION:A lead receiving body 7 fitted and fixed to an insulator 1 has a tail section 12 connected to an external connecting wire and is formed into a cylindrical shape. A moving contact piece 10 movable in the axial direction of the receiving body 7 applied with an elastic force by a spring 13 is provided in the cylindrical shape. When an IC lead is inserted, the lead is brought into elastic contact with the contact piece 10, the removing force becomes zero when the IC is removed, the contact pressure between the lead and the contact piece 10 is not changed even if the lead outer diameter size of the IC is changed, and an IC connector with good contact and improved reliability is obtained. |
