The invention relates to a floating platform, particularly provided to make it possible to enjoy moments of relaxation and leisure pursuits such as fishing, eating out of doors, sunbathing, inter alia, on a pond or slow-running river (water course). It consists of a rapid and easy assembly of identical elements of relatively small dimensions obtained by thermoforming a plastic material by means of a single mould. In the example shown in the appended figure, the platform is produced by the assembly of identical elements with the shape of a hollow cube which is open on one face, which may be closed off by a cover. These elements are distributed in two series, constituting a checkerboard: the elements 2 of the first series have their face open and not closed off with respect to the surface of the water, whilst those in the second series, 3, have their face open unlike that which is opposite the surface of the water, thus forming floats, the said open face normally being closed off by a fixed cover (5) for completing the floor formed by the elements 2 of the first series, or a removable cover making it possible to use these elements as a reserve for foods or drinks or as a receptacle for books, games, fishing articles, etc. <IMAGE>
