PURPOSE:To realize a demodulator not affected by phase jitter at a specific frequency by eliminating a phase shift output at the specific frequency from a phase difference detection output and reproducing a carrier not affected by a phase shift at the specific frequency. CONSTITUTION:A phase difference between two orthogonal demodulation signals outputted from a demodulation 12 is detected by a phase difference detector, a fundamental wave of a specific frequency and its harmonic components are eliminated by a filter 16 and the resulting carrier is reproduced by a carrier reproduction device 13. Thus, jitter at the specific frequency included in the carrier is eliminated to reproduce a demodulation side carrier. |
