METHOD FOR PREPARING OF FORMALDEHYD OLIGOMERS

The method is applied in chemical industry. It enhances the level of conversion of monomers and improves the characteristics of the derived olygomers. The extraction of the newlyvarnished cresol-formaldehyde olygomers from cresol and formaldehyde is carried out by introducing in the reactionary mixture a certain quantity of organic solvent.The solvent represents a composition of mixed with water organic solvents (cyclic ethers and low alcohols). With its insertion in the reactionary mixture in a quantity of up to 60 vol. part. and 100 vol.part. phenol enhances the molecular mass of the newly-varnished olygomers of up to 65%.
