METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSMITTING AND APPLYING CHAT POC GROUP INFORMATION IN CHAT POC SESSION

A method for transferring and applying chat PoC(PTT(Push To Talk) over Cellular) group in a chat PoC session and a system for implementing the same are provided to include group information in a group advertisement message and transfer it to PoC clients included in a reception list so that a PoC client that does not support an item included in the group information not may not join a session. A chat PoC session initiation requesting PoC UE(User Equipment)(100) stores PoC group information corresponding to a chat PoC group ID in an XDMS(XML(eXtensible Markup Language) Document Management Server). When the chat PoC session initiation requesting PoC UE initiates a PoC session, it transmits a session participation request message including the chat PoC group ID to a PoC server. When a PoC server(150) receives the session participation request message, it checks the stored PoC group information through the XDMS and initiates a session by applying the checked PoC group information to the chat PoC session that has requested the initiation. The PoC server includes the checked PoC group information in a response message and transfers the same to the chat PoC session initiation requesting PoC UE.
