PURPOSE:To simplify pole constitution of a magnet and reduce nonuniform magnetization, by making N-pole and S-pole regions magnetized coexist in the rotational direction with N-pole and S-pole regions in the radial direction by a certain angle in one boundary. CONSTITUTION:A ring-shaped or disc-shaped magnet 3 mounted to a rotor 2 is magnetized for a main magnetic pole 31 at a shaft end to drive and for a detecting magnetic pole 32 at an outer circular surface to locate. A main magnetic pole 31 consists of two pairs of N-pole regions and S-pole regions magnetized alternately. A singular N-pole, an effective nonmagnetic pole where N and S poles coexist, and a singular S-pole are formed successively in two pairs by coexisting within a certain angle at its boundary end. Thus, even torque with less nonuniform magnetization can be generated. |
