<p>Zeolites based on silica and oxides of tetravalent elements chosen from tin and zirconium. The subject of the invention is a zeolite based on silica and an oxide of a tetravalent element, characterised in that it has the following general formula (I) after calcination: (Si91-xT'x)O192 (I> in which formula (I): - X is between 0.1 and 5.0, - T' symbolises a tetravelent element chosen from the group consisting of tin and zirconium. These zeolites have a structure of MFI type and can be employed especially in the field of catalysis and, more particularly, in a process for hydroxylation of phenols or phenol ethers with hydrogen peroxide.</p> |
