A device for blocking the cooling-air duct of an automobile radiator that comprises a supporting frame 13 with a number of radial blades 16, 16a that can oscillate between a blocking position and an open position of the duct through which the airflow that passes through the radiator is conducted when driven by the electric fan unit 2.
