A data control method of a mobile terminal is provided to manage information effectively by additionally storing location information to schedule information which has expired. When location information is selected after data is inputted in a mobile terminal(201), a controller displays the type of the location information. If current location information among types of location information is selected(203), the controller receives current location information of the mobile terminal via a GPS receiving unit(204) and displays it. If particular location information is selected among the types of location information(205), the controller searches the inputted particular location information from map data stored in a memory(206) and displays it(207). If storing of the current location information or the particular location information is selected(208), the controller stores the inputted data and the current location information or the particular location information(209).
