In the cover (9) for closing inspection orifices of sewage systems and the like, there is fastened perpendicularly to its surface a tube (19) which engages telescopically into a tube (23) mounted on the ceiling (1) of the sewage system. Inserted inside the tubes (19, 23) is a spindle (27), by means of which the cover (9) can be lifted out of the frame (5) of the orifice (3) and pivoted by means of a key (35) guided through the coaxial tubes (19, 23). The idle stroke of the spindle (27) preceding the stroke makes it possible to clean the spindle-key extension (31) easily. <IMAGE> |
