摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to stably perform desulfurization and the regeneration of a desulfurizing agent with good efficiency, by detecting sulfurization reactivity by utilizing such a fact that the electric resistance of iron oxide used as a desulfurizing agent becomes low with the advance of sulfurization. CONSTITUTION:First and second detection electrodes 10, 11 and 12, 13 are provided so as to be respectively opposed in packed tanks, 1a, 3a of a desulfurizing agent 2a and a desulfurizing agent 2b to be regenerated within a desulfurization tower 1 and a regeneration tower 3 while resistance detectors 14, 15 for detecting electric resistance values between electrodes 10, 11 and 12, 13 are provided so as to be capable of detecting non-sulfurization states of the desulfurizing agent 2a and the desulfurizing agent 2b to be regenerated hourly. Then, feed apparatuses 9, 16 and a control valve 17 are automatically controlled so as to obtain accurate feed speeds and a gas supply amount on the basis of data detected by the resistance detectors 14, 15. By this method, stable operation is enabled and the desulfurization and regeneration of iron oxide can be made efficient.</p>
