PURPOSE:To more stably form an image and to save a space for a device by respectively providing a pair of means for inverting the surface and the back surface of a transfer paper and a pair of means for reversing a carrying direction and feeding the paper from a direction reversing means in both cases of one-side transfer and both-side transfer. CONSTITUTION:A pair of paper ejecting switching pawls 83 for inverting the surface and the back surface of the transfer paper P, a pair of paper re-feeding paths for both sides 85 and a pair of switchback carrying units 61 for reversing only the carrying direction of the paper P are respectively provided so as to feed the paper to a recording part 38 via the unit 61 in both cases of one-side transfer and both-side transfer. Since the paper P is fed from a horizontal state only by a resist roller pair 50, it matches with the rotation of a photosensitive drum 44 and its movement is stabilized. Then, a pair of units 61 for housing the paper P and a pair of paths 85 are respectively provided and they are nearly vertically disposed so as to be used also as a manual feeding tray 35, so that a paper re-feeding part is simplified and the space is saved. |
