摘要

PURPOSE:To increase image densities and to improve fine line reproducibility and highlight gradation characteristic by bringing a toner supplying roller and a developer coating blade into pressurized contact with a developer carrying member and incorporating >=1 kinds of specific copolymers into the resin of a nonmagnetic one-component color toner. CONSTITUTION:The supplying roller 4 for supplying the toner to the developer carrying member 2 and the developer coating blade 5 provided on the downstream side of the supplying roller 4 are brought into pressurized contact with the developer carrying member 2. At least one kind of the copolymers of an aminoacryl monomer and styrene or styrene/acryl are incorporated into the resin of the nonmagnetic one-component color toner. The developing bias of an AC electric field or the AC electric field superposed with a DC electric field is impressed between the developer carrying member 2 and a latent image holding body 1 by a bias power source 6, by which the transfer of the toner from the surface of the developer carrying member 2 to the latent image holding body 1 is facilitated. The images exhibiting the sufficient image densities, fine line reproducibility and highlight gradation characteristic are obtd. in this way.
