PURPOSE:To obtain bright images free from fogging, spots, stains, etc., without generating filming on a photosensitive body by incorporating fine silicic acid powder which is synthesized by a dry process has a specific bulk density and is treated with a silane coupling agent and/or silicone oil into the above toner. CONSTITUTION:The fine silicic acid powder which is synthesized by the dry process has <= 35g/l bulk density and is treated with the silane coupling agent and/or the silicone oil is incorporated into this toner. The flocs of the primary particles of the fine silicic acid powder in the nonmagnetic toner and the lumps formed by the additional flocculation of the flocs are not admitted and the fine silicic acid powder disperses and sticks uniformly and strongly to the surfaces of the toner particles if the fine silicic acid powder having <= 35g/l bulk density are incorporated into the parts near the toner surfaces. The generation of the filming on the photosensitive body is obviated even if the toner is used for image formation over a long period of time. The bright images free from the fogging, dots and stains are thus obtd. over a long period of time. |
