PURPOSE:To discriminate the focused state of an object after executing focus locking operation by displaying a prescribed display in a finder at the time of detecting that the object in a range finding frame is present in a prescribed area. CONSTITUTION:A line sensor consisting of standard parts (1-1) to (4-1) and reference parts (1-2) to (4-2) is formed on the CCD base of the camera and focus detection is correlationally executed while shifting the images of the standard parts (1-1) to (4-1) corresponding to range finding area AR3 to AR6 to that of the reference parts (1-2) to (4-2). At the time of detecting the presence of an object image in a prescribed range finding area in a focused state, a display 36 in the finder is constituted so as to light up e.g. with green in accordance with a detected output. |
