PURPOSE:To facilitate the cleaning work or the like of an electrometer of the like by disposing a potential measurement means and the detection mechanism means of the offset quantity thereof on an identical fixed base and providing a fitting means, which can be attached and detached to a unit frame in an image forming device main body, to the fixed base. CONSTITUTION:The plate-like fixed base 10 is provided with a hole 10a for a screw 11 so that it can be fitted to the frame of a developing unit in the image forming device main body by the screw 11. On the fixed base 10, an electrometer probe 5, an earth plate 6 which constitutes the detection mechanism of the offset quantity which is opposed to the position B of the detection port thereof and which can be moved to positions A and C, a guide member 7 for the plate 6, a solenoid 8 which moves the earth plate in a direction shown by arrows (a) - (a') and a spring 9 which returns the attraction piece 8a of the solenoid to an original place are respectively mounted. Thus, a potential detection unit for the cleaning work or the like is also easily removed. |
