<p>PURPOSE:To attain the exchange of memory cartridges even though a memory cartridge is loaded and unloaded when a power supply of an equipment main body is turned on by providing a means which supplies the power only when the information data are read out of and written into the memory cartridge. CONSTITUTION:A loadable/unloadable memory cartridge 2 is provided to store various types of control information together with a power supply means 12 which supplies the power to the cartridge 2, a reception means 10 which receives an access request given to the cartridge 2, and a control means 4 which makes the means 12 supply the power to the cartridge 2 only when the means 10 receives an access request. Thus it is possible to supply the power only in an access applied for reading and writing the information data out of the into the loaded cartridge 2. Then the breakage of a semiconductor memory in the cartridge 2 can be prevented when the cartridge 2 is unloaded without turning off a power supply.</p> |
