PURPOSE:To carry out maintenance-free humidification in a refrigerator by incorporating an open air with high absolute humidity into the refrigerator in terms of heat exchange. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerating chamber 1, a humidity control chamber, an open air intake port 5, and an open air discharge port 6 constitute both a heat exchanger-like ventilation structure and an open air ventilation structure. In addition, both an open air speed increase section 14 and an open air discharge increase section 15 constitute a ventilation amount increase section according to the open air ventilation structure. Since dried air is crossed with vapor by molecular diffusion induced by differential temperature, external high temperature vapor is cooled up to an interior temperature by heat exchange and incorporated into the refrigerator, which make it possible to minimize the amount of heat leakage from the outside and hence raise the interior temperature. More particularly, the amount of open air intake controls the humidity of the humidity control chamber 21. It is, therefore, possible to carry out maintenance- free humidification by incorporating the open air. |
